When you are in the park you can take a walk along the cobblestone streets and the wooden streets. Although the streets are usually muddy during the raining season there are elevated side walks to make sure that the mud is not a bother. In the past the cobblestones were used as ballast stones by the miners who came to get gold. One of the oldest buildings that have ever been raised in the park is known as B.F Hastings building.
