There are museums, sightseeing options, landmarks and theaters one can choose from while visiting Old Sacramento. Currently a historic district with over 50 surviving buildings this is a must visit.

Tip 5 - Host to more than 400 animals Sacramento Zoo this is one of the biggest zoos in the country. It has grown from its original 4.2 acres to 14.3 acres presently. Since 1927 this zoo has grown from strength to strength and conducts conservation programs, classes and camps to inform young children on the importance of animals, conservation classes and much more.
